Witness appeal after jewellery stolen in Preston burglary

Hertfordshire Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a home near Hitchin.

The incident happened on Oakfields in Preston sometime between 5pm and 7.15pm on Sunday 23 November, when offenders smashed a window to gain entry. Several pieces of jewellery were reported stolen.

Detective Constable Remi Bekevicius, from the North Herts Criminal Investigation Department, said:

"Our enquiries are continuing and I am urging anyone with information to please come forward. If you saw anything, have any doorbell footage, or any further information that may help our investigation, please email me via [email protected]."
