Witness appeal after theft from vehicle in Hitchin

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a theft from a vehicle in Hitchin.
Sometime between 9pm on Thursday 22 May and 12:30am on Friday 23 May, a Grey Volkswagen Golf was parked on Lancaster Avenue.
The front bumper was reportedly removed and the car's adaptive cruise control radar stolen. The suspect(s) then left the area in an unknown direction.
PC Martin Barringer, from the Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am asking anyone with information to please come forward.
"Did you see what happened, or witness anyone acting suspiciously in the area during the specified times? Please email me via [email protected]."
