Witness appeal following criminal damage in Stevenage

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident of criminal damage in Stevenage.

It was reported that between 230pm and 920pm on Saturday 22 October, a red Toyota Aygo, which was parked on the top floor of the Westgate multi-storey car park, was significantly damaged.

The windscreen was smashed and the wingmirrors and windscreen wipers torn off.

PC Finn Donnelly, who is investigating said: "I'm looking to hear from anyone who witnessed this vehicle being damaged to get in touch.

"The timeframe we currently have for the incident is quite large, therefore I would also like anyone who can help us to narrow that down to come forward, for example did you notice the damaged vehicle at an earlier time?

"Anyone with information can contact me directly by email via [email protected]

You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/85822/22.
