A community music festival in Woolmer Green has raised £4,283 to support patients undergoing cancer treatment at Lister Hospital.
WoolyFest, held in July, supported the hospital's cancer centre for the second year running, bringing its fundraising total over the two years to £8,635.
The money was raised for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity and will help fund improvements to patient care and comfort.
Festival representatives Jacqui, Phil and Sarah recently visited the centre to see how their fundraising will help. They also presented a cheque to matron Trish and clinical nurse specialist Julie.
Trish said: "We have been fortunate enough to be a beneficiary charity of the brilliant Woolyfest for two years and over that period, the festival has helped to raise a staggering £8,635 to support our patients and staff."
The funds will support projects including the centre's complementary therapy service, which offers massage, ear acupuncture, reiki and aromatherapy.
They will also help fund scalp cooling machines to reduce the risk of hair loss during chemotherapy, more comfortable furniture for the waiting area and chemotherapy suite, and new murals to make clinic rooms more welcoming.
Trish added: "We simply couldn't make projects like this happen without kind supporters like the Woolyfest team so we would like to thank them and everyone who donated at the event from the bottom of our hearts."
Beth McNeil, head of fundraising for the charity, also thanked organisers and festivalgoers.
She said: "WoolyFest is a wonderful, family-friendly event and we are incredibly grateful that they have chosen to raise funds for our cancer centre again this year.
"With their kind support, we can continue to fund projects that make such a difference to patients going through the upset of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Thank you so much."
