Families in Hitchin looking to treat their mum this Mother's Day can enjoy a special three-course menu at the town's Zizzi restaurant.

The Italian restaurant chain has announced a Mother's Day set menu priced at £29.95, available on Sunday 15 March, offering a range of starters, mains and desserts designed to celebrate mums and mother figures.

As part of the promotion, every mum who orders the menu will receive a special Mother's Day card containing a surprise prize to redeem on their next visit before 30 April.

Prizes include treats such as a free garlic bombe, drink, starter or dessert, while some lucky winners could receive larger prizes including an Aperol hamper, a bottle of gin, or a Truffle Guys hamper.

What's on the menu

The three-course menu includes several options across each course.

Starter choices include Crab & Lemon Arancini and Hot Honey Pork Belly Bites.

For the main course, guests can choose dishes such as:

• Quattro Pomodoro Rustica Pizza
• Truffle Carbonara with fresh Mafaldine pasta

There is also the option to upgrade to Chicken Milanese Fonduta for an additional £3.

Dessert options include a Tropical Piña Colada Sundae, Tiramisu, or a Chocolate Caramello Sundae.

Families looking to make the celebration extra special can also add a 1.5-litre Magnum of Prosecco for £55.95.

Limited-edition Mother's Day cards

Each restaurant will have 100 Mother's Day prize cards available for mums ordering from the set menu, adding an extra surprise element to the celebration.

The offer is part of the brand's wider Mother's Day celebrations across the UK and Ireland.
