Stevenage return to Villa Park, 21 years after their play off final defeat to Yeovil, but in different circumstances as they face Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup, writes Owen Rodbard.

As a lifelong Boro fan, I can only dream of these moments.

Year after year of either getting knocked out in the first or second round, or facing the same lower league opponents, has curtailed any hopes of a potential giant killing among the big boys.

No doubt Boro boss Steve Evans will be exhilarated to test his skills against one of the worlds best managers in Unai Emery, who recently took over from Steven Gerrard at Villa Park.

The money made from this tie will undoubtedly help us in the upcoming window with potential transfers, and help the promotion push, so getting as many fans to the game as possible is imperative.

With train strikes, and it being straight after Christmas, I'm still hoping Boro fans will be making the trip up to Birmingham.

I urge all fans to take this opportunity, as I know I've waited nearly 10 years for it.
