Alex Revell's Stevenage beat battling Concord Rangers after a spot-kick drama, to win through to the second round of the FA Cup following a tough tie that went to extra time.

The home side beat the visitors from Canvey Island 5-4 on spot-kicks, with Aramide Oteh slotting home the winning penalty after a 2-2 draw in 120 minutes on Saturday afternoon at the Lamex.

Danny Newton had put Boro 2-1 ahead in extra time ahead after Odei Martin levelled late on.

Earlier Ben Coker put Stevenage 1-0 in front in the first half prior to Alex Walll pulling a goal back.

Loves the club, which was evident in his display. As he said afterwards: 'He was glad to be back'. With outstanding performances full of heart and character such as this Stevenage fans will be equally pleased. A class act.
