Brett Donnelly's Stotfold are looking forward to the new season, following their second promotion in two years.

A 2-0 win away to Dereham Town in a one-off play-off back back in May meant the Eagles will be playing in the Southern League for the first time in their history.

The victory ensured back-to-back promotions for the club and the popular boss, who has revitalised the highly-regarded Bedfordshire club that play at New Roker Park.

Stotfold will play in the fourth tier of non-league football - the Southern League Division One Central next season, which will feature Donnelly's former club Biggleswade Town as well as Biggleswade FC, Bedford Town, Kempston Rovers, Barton Rovers, AFC Dunstable, Ware, Welwyn GC as well as Hertford Town to name a few sides in our region.
