Painter and architect Anthony Mackay is a well known local artist. He has travelled widely both for work and pleasure, and has had several one-man exhibitions in the UK, in Copenhagen and Shanghai. He is the author of four published books of ink drawings of landscapes and buildings.

During a recent one-man show at Eagle Gallery, he delighted passers-by as he painted outside the gallery.

He is a Founder member of The Eagle Gallery in Bedford and this demonstration is offered as one of the special events as we celebrate the gallery's 20th anniversary.
