For anyone who wants to find out more about bees and see if they would like to take up beekeeping.

These day courses are held at our Honeyworks Beekeeping centre where friendly, experienced beekeepers will allow you to learn the first skills of beekeeping.

You will enjoy looking inside a beehive, watching the bees at work and trying to find the queen in amongst the thousands of worker bees. You will also find out about different approaches to beekeeping, what equipment is needed and get an idea of how much time you need to spend.

There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions with our very experienced beekeepers. Perhaps this could be the start of your new hobby.
