North Herts Pride will return to Hitchin on Saturday 22 August 2026, bringing a welcoming celebration of identity, creativity and community spirit to the town centre. Organised entirely by local volunteers, this year's event focuses on connection, gentle creativity and giving space to voices from across North Hertfordshire.

Visitors can explore a colourful range of community stalls, local makers, wellbeing groups and Pride merchandise, all designed to support grassroots organisations and encourage meaningful conversations.

A highlight of the day will be the Community Stage, which will feature poets, authors, spokenword performers and acoustic musicians sharing short pieces throughout the event. Organisers are actively looking for local poets, writers and performers who would like to take part, and hope to welcome familiar drag performers depending on availability.

North Herts Pride is also inviting anyone interested in volunteering or hosting a stall to get involved. The team aims to create an inclusive, uplifting day that reflects the diversity and creativity of the local community.
