Job Title: Block Manager

We are a small, well-established company with a growing block division, seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Block Manager. This role offers the chance to further develop your skills and expertise while contributing to the expansion of our block management services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a small portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and excellent service delivery.
• Oversee statutory compliance processes, including Section 20 notices, Annual General Meetings (AGM), and service charge budget setting.
• Liaise effectively with leaseholders, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Assist in the growth and development of the block management division, actively contributing ideas and strategies for expansion.
• Provide support to senior management as required, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within the block management sector is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge of S20, AGM procedures, and service charge budget setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
• A proactive mindset, with the willingness to take on new challenges and learn from experiences.
• Relevant qualifications such as IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Management) would be advantageous but not essential.
