Hitchin Nub News What's On Event of the Week: Open House at Charnwood

Hitchin is a town renowned the its community-based events.

So why not take a look at what's going on in the town in our recently revamped What's On section.

To keep you up to date with everything that is going on, we've decided to post a regular 'Event of the Week' article with details of an activity occurring in the local area.

You can list your local events, whether they be shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, virtual markets, pub offers, choir rehearsals, or anything else, on our What's On page free of charge.

For our latest Nub News What's On event of the week there is an important public meeting coming up.

Open House at Charnwood

Join us (NHDC) this Friday (September 3) and Saturday (September 4) at Charnwood House to discuss ideas or proposals for transforming Charnwood House into a community hub with your councillors.

We will also be offering inside tours of the building

Friday (September 3) and Saturday (September 4)

10am - 4pm

Charnwood House, Hitchin (next to Hitchin Library)

Your responses may inform and influence proposals for refurbishing and adapting Charnwood House into a useful, creative and exciting community hub asset.

This feedback will help NHDC aim to ensure proposals meet your priorities, needs and aspirations for a community hub, and add value to what members of the community, local businesses and other community stakeholders do.
