Residents were sent letters from Hertfordshire County Council alerting them to the upcoming work on the road.

Repair to lighting columns on the road impacts:

-Outside No. 2 & 3 Bearton Road

-Outside No. 15 & 16 Bearton Road

-Outside No. 113 & 114 Bearton Road

-Outside No. 143 & 144 Bearton Road

-At the junction of Bearton Road and Brampton Road

The Council has asked residents to move vehicles from these locations over this time.

Whilst all local businesses will be open as normal the Hertfordshire County Council did warn that the work is weather dependent and it remains to be seen whether it will take place on time after the weekends inclement weather.
