An interactive installation of giant inflatable plants and flowers will be blooming in Hitchin over the next few months - encouraging kids to learn and have fun with botanicals.

The botanical invasion at Hitchin's North Herts Museum will run until October after the acclaimed museum in the centre of our town secured the special exhibition from visual artists Spacecadets Air Design whose hugely popular Blood and Bone exhibition was hosted by the museum in 2019.

Exotic flowers from the botanical invasion and a giant cactus tunnel for children to walk through will take over the gallery and it's all free to see! Activities for children on a botanical theme will also be taking place.

North Herts Museum is located in Brand Street, Hitchin, open Tue-Sat 1030am-430pm and Sun 11am-3pm, and general admission and this exhibition is free.
