Breaking: Two ambulances, an ambulance operational command vehicle and two police cars are currently at an incident in Hitchin.

Paramedics and police are currently assisting with an incident in Bearton Road this morning, Tuesday, February 14.

Herts Police have confirmed to Nub News that there is currently an ongoing 'medical episode' after a person has been taken ill at a house in Bearton Road.

A passerby told Hitchin Nub News: "It looks serious with all the ambulances and police's flashing blue lights - I hope everyone is ok."

The road remains open but motorists should proceed with caution due to the ambulances parked in the road.
