Britain’s Got Talent Star Immi Davis Delights Residents at Milford Lodge Care Home
By Eliana Ferraris 23rd May 2026
Season 15 Britain's Got Talent semi‑finalist Immi Davis brought pure magic to Milford Lodge Care Home in Hitchin last week, delivering a heartfelt performance that had residents smiling, singing, and even wiping away the occasional happy tear.
A Voice That Filled the Home With Joy
Immi, from Welwyn Garden City, known for her powerhouse vocals and charming stage presence on Britain's Got Talent, arrived with warmth, enthusiasm, and a setlist tailored perfectly for the residents. From golden‑oldies to uplifting modern classics, she created an atmosphere that felt more like a private concert than a care home lounge.
Residents gathered early, excited to welcome a young star whose talent had captured the nation. As soon as she began singing, the room transformed—feet tapped, hands clapped, and voices joined in.
Moments That Mattered
Emotional reactions — Staff noted how music sparked memories and lifted spirits, especially for residents living with dementia.
Heartfelt interactions — Immi spent time chatting with residents, posing for photos, and sharing stories from her BGT journey
Resident singalongs — Many couldn't resist joining in, especially during familiar favourites.
One resident described the afternoon as "absolutely wonderful—her voice is like sunshine."
A Special Visit With Lasting Impact
The Engagement & Wellbeing Team Eliana Ferraris & Devina Kutowaroo said the visit was "a beautiful reminder of how powerful music can be in bringing people together." Adding that seeing a young performer like Immi connect so naturally with older generations was "truly heartwarming."
Looking Ahead
Inspired by the success of the event, Milford Lodge plans to continue welcoming performers and community guests as part of its commitment to enriching residents' daily lives.
