Coming soon to Hitchin: The Shack

A new restaurant offering Sunday roasts, as well as a range of burgers, wings, grilled sandwiches. sides and shakes is gearing up to open in Hitchin town centre.

The Shack has taken over the Sun Street site of the former Deroka restaurant that served 'Mediterranean food' - and is busy preparing to open its doors to hungry punters very soon.

As you can see from our photographs after Nub News paid a visit to the address at 32 Sun Street on Monday afternoon (January 8) the news of the forthcoming new eatery will see a raft of succulent servings to satisfy hungry Hitchin punters.

A sign in their Sun Street window read: "Hitchin are you ready?

Shack also have sites in Biggleswade and Barton Le-Clay with their forthcoming Hitchin restaurant making it three for the franchise.

Shack said of their growth: "We're obsessed with food that bangs.

"But, never in a million years did we think we'd be opening our third restaurant just three years after the first…which must mean you guys love street food just as much as us!

"So if it's chilled vibes and next level food you're looking for, we're your people."
