R&B artist Craig David has announced outdoor shows next year - including an event in Hitchin (on a Saturday...)

The musician, who is best known for his hit song '7 Days', which is about a short-lived sexual relationship, is coming to Hitchin in the summer of 2024.

In the song, David sings the lyrics: "I met this girl on Monday / Took her for a drink on Tuesday / We were making love by Wednesday."

Craig David's recent album 22 that was released last year focuses on a selection of nostalgic R&B tracks - but no doubt the song that made him famous will be on the set list too, at his concert which will take place at Hitchin Priory in August 2024.

You can buy his tickets (on a Friday), with sale dates starting from 10am this Friday (November 10)

However, speaking previously on The Louis Theroux Podcast about his hit song '7 Days', the 41-year-old musician said he had 'reigned back' his love life, after a raft of one-night stands, as he described how all his subsequent relationships were influenced by his song from 2000 - influencing his love life for nearly a quarter of a century.

In response, Theroux joked:  "I can't believe that Craig David, who met a girl on Monday and was making love on Tuesday is now saying he might not be making love any day of the week. That's quite a shock."

When are Craig David's performances 2024?

Saturday, July 6 – Warwick Castle, Warwick

Friday, August 2 – Dreamland, Margate

Saturday, August 31 – Hitchin Priory, Hitchin - read Nub News for more on how to get tickets
