The sun shone when Alice, White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter came to Hitchin Market on Easter Saturday.

Viv and Penny, regular Market stall holders had organised an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt.

Together with Jakob they toured the market inviting children to participate.

At the end every child received a goody bag.

Organisers said: "Great fun was had by all."
