HITCHIN: Our town is set to bask in temperatures of around 22C over the Easter weekend.

Dry conditions are forecast over the coming days which could bring the highest temperatures of the year so far.

North Herts can expect warm weather with sunshine expected for most of our area ahead of the bank holiday.

Hitchin temperatures are expected to be above average - and could be very warm come Good Friday.

Expect places such as Bancroft park and Windmill Hill to be full of sunseekers over the holiday break.

PS: If you're aiming to enjoy the good weather on the hill, please do make sure you tidy up afterwards.
