Hitchin Nub News is proud to share our series called First Glimpse dedicated to showcasing brand new businesses that are opening in our town and surrounding areas.

.............

FIRST GLIMPSE: A new cafe is set to open in our town's square in 2022.

An exciting new cafe called Ziba is about to start offering succulent 'Mediterranean' food in Hitchin.

Ziba describes itself as a 'Mediterranean Artisan Cafe' and will be welcoming customers to its site at 30 Market Place very soon.

The application was lodged in July with North Herts District Council for a change of use of the ground floor and basement from retail to a 'mixed use cafe/restaurant and hot food takeaway'.

Ziba is listed at Companies House as also offering mobile food stands and event catering activities.

An application for the sale of alcohol between the hours of 12pm 11pm was applied for at NHC days before Christmas.

Hitchin Nub News will bring you more on Ziba soon: Welcome to Hitchin!
