Have your say on local policing priorities across Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire's Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPTs) are calling on residents to have their say on the next set of local policing priorities, as they continue efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour, speeding, retail theft and other neighbourhood concerns.
The call for feedback follows three months of targeted police activity across the county, shaped by previous community input. Now, with a new round of priority-setting due at the end of August, residents are being encouraged to complete a short online survey to highlight the issues that matter most to them. The survey is available at: https://bit.ly/hertspolice-psf.
Neighbourhood Policing Teams, made up of dedicated officers and PCSOs, focus on long- and short-term issues such as theft, drug crime and anti-social behaviour. Every four months, they review public feedback and local crime data to set new priorities. Residents can then expect to see visible action, including more patrols, targeted enforcement, and community engagement events.
While NPTs focus on these locally identified issues, they work alongside emergency response teams, detectives and specialist countywide units tackling broader crime trends and emerging threats. This ensures daily policing continues across all areas, including serious incidents and forcewide priorities such as burglary and violence against women and girls.
Anyone can complete the current survey, and police are particularly keen to hear from those who've shared feedback before, so that updated views can be factored into the latest review. The survey is hosted via the Herts Connected platform, but participants do not need to be members to take part.
Residents can follow progress on their area's policing priorities by checking the 'Your Area' section of the Hertfordshire Police website or following their local policing team on Facebook.
