Images released following theft in Hitchin

Police have released images of two men they would like to identify following a theft in Hitchin.

The incident happened at around 2.35pm on Tuesday 30 January at Boots on the High Street, when skincare products worth approximately £400 were stolen from the store.

The shopping basket used to remove the items from the store was found discarded in a bin in Tilehouse Street a short while later.

PCSO Cynthia Combe, from the Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "We believe the men pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have important information for us.

"If you recognise them, or you are either of the men pictured, please email me at [email protected]."

Call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/8271/24.
