Hitchin: Brave woman in mobility scooter foils Fishponds Road handbag thief
Police are appealing for any information following an attempt theft which occurred in Fishponds Road on Tuesday, (November 1) at around 2pm.
The victim was travelling along Fishponds Road in a mobility scooter when she was approached by a male who attempted to grab her handbag.
The male is described as having black shoulder length hair and a long beard. He was wearing a black puffa jacket.
