A brilliant new on-demand food delivery service focusing on our town's renowned independent restaurants is set to launch in Hitchin on Wednesday.

GoGetters shine the spotlight on local restaurants and stores, using local drivers and support local businesses.

Putting the emphasis on independent heroes is what they believe in, funneling their efforts back into communities and continuing to keep the art of local businesses thriving.

Speaking to Hitchin Nub News, our new sponsors underline their commitment to promoting local businesses in and around our wonderful town.

"We're not like other companies in our market," explains GoGetters creative marketing manager Nafees Akhtar, adding: "We are far more local, with our focus being on independents. Our ethos is that we are very community driven."

GoGetters partner up with independent restaurants, offering a delivery service to them. Customers will then order off a particular restaurant's website, or via GoGetters website with the company also used as the delivery service for the food order or delivery.

"We're delighted to have already got quite a few Hitchin restaurants and eateries to sign up," Nafees says, adding: "We're having conversations with a number of others, with a view to hopefully getting plenty more on board soon, we advise any restaurants or stores that would like to get onboard to visit our site."

"We are a very personal, close knit-company," he underlines, saying: "If you talk to someone at our team you will get a proper answer from them."

With a billboard going up on Cambridge Road in Hitchin, GoGetters are set to become a household name in our town - not least thanks to the progressive business becoming another of our Nub News sponsors.
