The eagerly-awaited big Hitchin Christmas light switch-on is this weekend.

Hitchin's Christmas Lights switch-on kicks off at 12pm on Saturday [November 20] with a host of acts on stage, Santa's Parade and live music from Hitchin favourites, The New Town Centres.

There will also be a great programme of events including music from Somewhere2Sing, The Offley Choir, The Rock Choir and Glee Choir.
