Save the date for an exciting event in our town - all for a great cause.

In December, the Garden House Hospice are hosting a Strictly Come Bhangra dance competition modelled on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing - and are inviting as many people as possible to join them.

You are welcome to join them for an evening of entertainment as an array of talented acts dance their way towards the glitterball trophy to be crowned the 2021 champion.

Bhangra is a style of traditional Indian Asian dance and can be infused with other styles of dance to create Bhangra Fusion.

The music can be traditional and some more modern music can be mixed with the traditional beat - all of which adds up to an evening of fun.

You can also try your luck in an impressive raffle and enjoy delicious refreshments.

The event takes place on Saturday, December 4 between 6pm and 10pm at Kingshott School, Hitchin.

Tickets cost £15 per person and can be bought here.

If you would like to take part, lace up your dancing shoes and get in touch to secure your place today.

You can contact them at [email protected]

If you would like to take part, organisers would be very grateful if you would complete fundraising to show the community what you are doing, and the effort that you are putting in.

There are several ways to do this, with Just Giving being the most common and quickest way. Please contact the events team for more support on how to do this.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact the fundraising team on 01462 679540 (option 3) or email [email protected]
