Hitchin has a new service connecting the town with Luton and Heathrow airports

A new National Express service has launched connecting our town with two major airports with up to six journeys a day.

The route takes starts at Peterborough's Queensgate Bus Station and goes through to Heathrow Airport, stopping at Cambridge Parkside, Cambridge Park and Ride, Hitchin, and Luton Airport.

From Hitchin the 788 route service will take around 20 minutes to reach Luton, and around one hour and 20 minutes to reach Heathrow.

John Boughton, commercial director at National Express, said: "We are thrilled to be able to add another new service from Peterborough and Cambridge, offering residents even better connectivity and choice of transport to the airport."
