Mums and dads in the North Herts area can save money and be environmentally friendly at the upcoming NCT Nearly New Sale in Hitchin.

NCT is the UK's largest parent charity, and its Nearly New Sales offer high quality second-hand baby and children's clothes (up to age 12) and equipment at a fraction of the high street cost, which can only be of benefit as the country continues to face  rising prices.

NCT's Herts North Nearly New Sale is to be held on Saturday (October 8) between 2pm and 330pm at the Priory School, Bedford Road, Hitchin - and the NCT are inviting Nub News readers to attend!

Not only can shoppers save money - they can also stop reusable clothes, toys and baby gear ending up in landfill.

Hannah Lane, sale coordinator from NCT Herts North, said: "We hope lots of local mums and dads will come to our Nearly New Sale to snap up some pre-loved bargains. Money can be tight for all parents but this is one way they can look after the pennies.

"They'll also be doing their bit for the environment too, by recycling baby and toddler clothes and products and saving them from landfill."

Shopping at an NCT Nearly New Sale funds the charity's work to support even more parents in the area. The income generated also helps fund helplines, provide breastfeeding counsellors, train antenatal teachers and offer many more services.

Nearly New Sales are open to everyone, not just NCT members, and entry is just £1 per person.
