Hitchin Nub News What's On Event of the Week: Get ready for our town's brilliant Children's Book Festival this weekend!

Hitchin is a town renowned the its community-based events.

So why not take a look at what's going on in the town in our recently revamped What's On section.

To keep you up to date with everything that is going on, we've decided to post a regular 'Event of the Week' article with details of an activity occurring in the local area.

You can list your local events, whether they be shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, virtual markets, pub offers, choir rehearsals, or anything else, on our What's On page free of charge.

For our latest Nub News What's On event of the week we have chosen this weekend's brilliant Hitchin Children's Book Festival.

The fourth annual event returns with twice the number of authors, running from Saturday (August 28) and Sunday (August 29)

There will be two days of fun with amazing presentations by the authors, followed by Q&As, face painting, and book signings.

Snacks for the whole family will be available.
