Resurfacing work outside Sainsbury's in Hitchin town centre has meant the car park capacity has been reduced this week.
The store situated near to Bancroft in the town has seen essential work carried out to upgrade the surface of the car park.
The work is part of an upgrade and will be completed soon according to the supermarket giant.
A Sainsbury's spokesperson told Nub News: "The work underway at Sainsbury's Hitchin is part of a car park upgrade programme and involves resurfacing the tarmac.
"We will reopen the completed section of the car park tomorrow (18th) and plan to fully reopen the carpark to customers when the works are complete by early next month.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience."
