Save the date!
As Hitchin and the country reawake from our Covid enforced hibernation a number of pubs are already planning for life after lockdown.
With Prime Minister Boris Johnson promising that the 'end really is in sight' as he revealed the route out of lockdown, many of us can't wait for pubs to reopen once again.
It's been a long 12 months for many up and down the country, including Hitchin and north Herts, but there is now a detailed the road back to normality for us all - including beer festivals!
With many pub beer gardens set to reopen from April 12, and the end of restrictions set for June 21 Hitchin's popular Half Moon pub are looking to the future.
Posting on their Instagram feed on Friday morning they asked: "Do any of you miss our beer festivals?
"WE DO!!!
"Save the date 10th, 11th and 12th September 2021 they are coming back. Live music, street food, loads of beer, cider and the best part.... we will be able to HUG!!!!!"
We can't wait!
