Hitchin: St Mary's celebrate Harvest Festival this week

HITCHIN: St Mary's Church is celebrating the Harvest Festival this week.
Our town's iconic church is marking the week with a series of events including a Mother's Union Service at 130pm on Friday.
The harvest festival is an annual celebration that occurs around the time of the main harvest in our region and elsewhere.
They posted on their official Instagram account saying: "Enjoy the fruits of our labour at St Mary's where we are celebrating Harvest Festival this week...all welcome."

The beautiful church in our town centre is open for prayer and visitors on Friday and Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
The church also made an appearance on hit TV show Married at First Sight: UK last week.
