It's been a busy week as ever at St Mary's Church in the heart of Hitchin, with the congregation raising a whopping £1,200+ for the people of Ukraine.

St Mary's Church is organising special collections in support of the
humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Those who are not able to contribute in person via our collection can do so via a QR code or by this linkhttps://givealittle.co/campaigns/7611d290-b946- 4c9b-bd99-6dcc6e6f88bb

All donations received will be routed via the Disasters Emergency Committee, and will benefit from additional contributions from the Government. Cheques should be made out to St Mary's DCC Charitable Giving.
We are pleased to report that on Monday we sent to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal the sum of £1209.44 collected in cash and cheques in the three days ending Sunday evening March 6 from church members and visitors.
Prayers for Ukraine
Our Trinity Chapel is open as a place of prayer for the Ukrainian people, where you can light a candle in peace.
Opening from 11 am until 3 pm this Saturday.
Our regular Sunday services in the morning at 10am are followed by the 'Theological Society',which continues on Sunday 13th March 6.30 to 7.30pm in Church with the theme `Journeys & Pilgrimage'.
All are welcome to share, chat, challenge or confirm views.
Future meetings will include topics such as 'Angels'.
