They're back! Hitchin Street Food Monthly returns for a Queen's Platinum Jubilee special this week.

The acclaimed event featuring the best of local independent scratch-cooked succulent fayre is back our town's beautiful riverside.

Eager punters are expected to flock to the River Hiz after Nub News reported on the latest Hitchin Street Food Monthly event being hailed as a huge success.

Lovers of top quality local food and drink will once again hit the area opposite our town's iconic St Mary's Church this Thursday for a selection of top quality local food and drink on Thursday evening.

Organisers said: "We're back for a big Jubilee special serving up the best local street food.

"There will be live music from @the_new_town_centres and live DJ's from @htownragsuk - all the booze from our favourite boozer @thevichitchin and on Hitchin's prettiest Riverside location.

"Bring a blanket, wave a flag and let's all raise cheers to the Queen."
