If you're out and about in Hitchin bring a brolly.

Possible heavy thunderstorms are forecast from around 8pm onwards with a chance of disruption to travel.

However, tonight's temperatures are expected to remain average for this time of year, at around 17 degrees.

Unsettled weather is forecast for the rest of the week with highs of 22 degrees expected on Wednesday.
