HITCHIN: The pleasant spring weather we have experienced over the weekend is set to continue this week.

The week is looking mostly dry, sunny and increasingly warm. Temperatures are expected to rise to a balmy 17C on Tuesday with sunny spells set for the next few days.

According to the Met Office, the sunshine will last all week and with the clocks going forward this coming weekend we can also expect longer and lighter evenings.

Tuesday morning will see any early mist or fog patches quickly clear, prior to fine, largely sunny weather.
