Hitchin's Wetherspoon pub is extending their drinks price reduction until next week.

The Angel Vaults on Sun Street will be offering cheaper drinks until Monday February 28.

The chain had initially lowered prices on a range of drinks before Christmas but have now decided to extend the deal until the end of this month.

The site of the pub had previously been the Hitchin Conservative Club on Sun Street. The deal includes a mini bottle of Prosecco (200ml) at £2.99 and a bottle of Prosecco (750ml) for £10.99.

The Hitchin pub's name refers to the medieval inn, The Angel Vaults, from which the road Angel Street was named – now named Sun Street.
