Italian restaurant Zizzi in Hitchin is offering customers a new midweek dining deal aimed at making eating out more affordable.

The popular town centre eatery has introduced a "Two for £25" offer, giving diners the chance to enjoy a shared Italian meal without breaking the bank.

Available from Monday to Thursday all day, and on Fridays until 5pm, the deal is designed for groups of two, four or six – making it ideal for a catch-up with friends or a relaxed early dinner.

For £25, two people can share a Rustica, Calzone or Classico pizza, alongside two sides and two soft drinks.

Diners can choose from a range of pizzas, including the newly launched Quattro Pomodoro Rustica, topped with heritage tomatoes, burrata and crispy chilli oil, the protein-packed Calzone Carne Piccante, and the Pollo & Pesto Classico with roasted chicken and Genovese pesto.

Sides on offer include favourites such as garlic bread with mozzarella and caramelised onions, courgetti fritti, loaded bolognese chips and fresca greens.

For those looking to upgrade, drinks can be swapped for a 330ml beer for an additional £1.75 per person, or a 175ml glass of wine for £3.75.

The new deal is expected to appeal to Hitchin diners looking for a value-for-money option during the week, with Zizzi positioning it as a simple way to enjoy Italian food together.
