Every year, Hertfordshire's 78 county councillors are provided with a Locality Budget to spend on projects that support our area including North Herts.

In response to the challenges resulting from the pandemic, these budgets have been increased from £10,000 to £15,000 for the last two financial years.

This extra funding has enabled councillors to support a wide range of projects that, on top of providing extra Covid relief, centre around the county council's four key corporate areas which include improving the health and wellbeing of our people, protecting and improving our environment, supporting the sustainable and responsible growth of our county and providing excellent services that are accessible for all.

Herts County Council said: "In line with this vision to help make a cleaner, greener, and healthier Hertfordshire and to mark this special Jubilee year we have featured the following grants, issued this year by county councillors to help local Hertfordshire communities celebrate the Queens Jubilee."
