A man in his 70s has sadly died at Cineworld cinema in Stevenage.

Herts Police confirmed an elderly man passed away after being taken ill at a cinema in Stevenage Leisure Park.

A pair of ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service attended along with police.

The fatality occurred after what was described as a 'medical episode' with the incident taking place at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, (September 28), at the Cineworld cinema in the town.
