Hitchin's Padel Zone opened a new premium reformer studio this weekend as the much-loved padel spot hopes to broaden its community. 

Located in Hitchin's industrial area, Padel Zone opened FOURM: a 12-bed reformer pilates space set in a design-led studio.

After opening in late 2025, Hunting Gate's Padel Zone has become a communal hub for padel enthusiasts from Hitchin and the surrounding areas. 

The addition of FOURM reflects the popular centre's expansion into other wellness-focused activities, as well as their hopes to grow their community.

Founder Miki Vooght said: "We wanted to create a space that delivers the same sense of quality, energy, and community, but through a different form of movement.

"Reformer Pilates offers a precise, intelligent way to build strength and improve overall performance, and it's accessible to everyone. 

"Our ambition is for FOURM to set a new benchmark for pilates in Hertfordshire, led by a best-in-class social experience."

Reformer pilates has experienced a surge in popularity in recent years due to being an effective full-body exercise suitable for all ages with low-impact and controlled movements.

Hitchin is no stranger to the exercise class, having been home to Chili Pilates on Bancroft since 2021. 

Padel Zone's FOURM studio will feature "refined, premium materials", creating a carefully 

curated space that aims to deliver "a calm, focused, and high-quality training experience". 

The name of the studio is a reference to the number four as an "expression of purpose" and the controlled form, breath and movement that defines the practice. 

A Padel Zone spokesperson said: "It is a space designed around intention, alignment, and progression." 

FOURM opened on March 28 and is located at Padel Zone in Hitchin.
