Witness appeal after Stevenage burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and CCTV footage following a burglary in Stevenage.

The incident occurred between 2am and 230am on Tuesday, January 2, when it is reported that a garage was broken in to on Inskip Crescent.

The passenger-side window of a blue Volkswagen Polo was smashed, and a number of items were taken from inside the vehicle. 

The suspect is described as a white man of medium/stocky build. He was also described as wearing a charcoal-coloured hoodie, denim jeans and white trainers with a black trim along the side.

He was also in possession of a torch and had a blue mountain bike with red lights on the back.

PC Chloe Scott, who is investigating, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.

"If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time, please get in touch. Additionally, if you have a doorbell cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation. You can email me at [email protected] with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you think it may be."
