Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in Stevenage town centre, which took place on Saturday 13 January.

It was reported that at around 615pm outside the bingo hall in Danestrete, an altercation took place involving a number of teenage boys.

During the incident bladed weapons are believed to have been seen and one of the teenage boys ended up on the ground and some of his personal items were taken. He sustained minor injuries.

Two 14 year old boys have since been identified and arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Quinlan, who is investigating, said: "We have spoken to a number of witnesses regarding this robbery and were able to very quickly make these arrests.

"However, we believe other people in the area at the time could have vital information which will help us progress this case and we are keen to speak to them.

"If this was you and you also saw this altercation, or have any information which will help our investigation, please contact us a soon as possible."
