Bedfordshire Police is appealing for information after a man was attacked in The Severalls, Luton.

On Thursday, February 2 at around 7pm, police were called to reports of a man who had been stabbed in the ankle by two other men.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The two suspects masked their faces and wore dark clothing.

They were armed with a sharp object, golf clubs and baseball bats. The vehicle used by them is believed to have been a silver / grey Nissan Juke or BMW.

PC Thomas Walter, investigating, said: "We are appealing for witnesses who were in the area to come forward to support our investigation and help identify the suspects.

"To those who work and live in the area and have accessible CCTV equipment, you could have captured crucial evidence. If this is the case, please get in touch with us."
