Police are releasing images of a person they would like to speak to after a commercial burglary in Stevenage.

The incident occurred at the Co-op on The Hyde, Stevenage on Saturday 26 November at 645pm.

A number of cigarette boxes were stolen from behind the counter.

PC Carl Webster, who is investigating, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the two men in the photos as it is believed that they were in the area at the time of the incident and could be able to assist with our enquiries.

"I appreciate that facial identification for one of the individuals is difficult from the CCTV images but believe the distinctive beige cap and black Nike jacket may be recognisable.

"Anyone with information can contact me at [email protected]."

You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/96428/22 (Hertford) or 41/96434/22 (Stevenage).
