Police investigating a theft at Hitchin Swimming Pool are appealing for the public's help to identify a person they believe may have information about the incident.
The theft happened between 6.45am and 8.15am on Monday 19 January at the swimming pool on Fishponds Road, when a rucksack was stolen from a locker.
The bag reportedly contained medication, a wallet, a mobile phone and clothing.
Officers have released CCTV images as part of their investigation, saying that although the images are not of high quality, they hope someone may recognise the person pictured or that the individual may come forward.
A police spokesperson said the person may have been in the area at the time and could have information that would assist enquiries.
Anyone who recognises the individual, or who has information about the incident, is asked to email [email protected]
Information can also be reported online at herts.police.uk/report, via the force's online web chat service, or by calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 41/5542/26.
People can also provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting crimestoppers-uk.org.
