Reece Haynes, 30, from Hitchin and Tegan Holden, 22, from Stevenage jailed for Class A offences including 'being concerned in supply' of heroin and crack cocaine

Two jailed for class A drugs offences 

Tegan Holden, aged 22, of Brighton Way in Stevenage, and Reece Haynes, aged 30, of Sunnyside Road in Hitchin, appeared at St Albans Crown Court earlier this month.  

Holden was sentenced to two years and three months imprisonment

27 months for being concerned in the supply of heroin on or before 5 January 2023 

27 months for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine on or before 5 January 2023 (to run concurrently) 

Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of heroin on or before 5 January 2023 

After Haynes had been charged following his arrest in Welwyn in January, he was remanded to prison having previously been arrested in June 2022. Officers had arrested him following work with the Metropolitan Police's Operation Orochi, which tackles county lines drug dealing. 

Detective Inspector Bianca Broadbent, from the Welwyn Hatfield Local Crime Unit, said: "We work hard to tackle the local drugs supply and so I am glad that Haynes and Holden are now behind bars. 

"I hope that the public feel reassured that these two offenders are no longer free to supply drugs to the local community.  

"You can help us tackle the local drugs supply by letting us know about any suspicions or information you have. Please don't hesitate to get in touch." 

During Monday's court appearance, he was also sentenced for the June arrests, which will run consecutively, bringing his total sentence to seven years: 

Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between 30 April and 29 May 2022  

Three years and six months for being concerned in the supply of heroin between 30 April and 29 May 2022 (to run concurrently)
