Running from Thursday 11 July until Saturday 27 July, Elizabeth Impey: Suffragette runs at the Market Theatre.

The play tells the story of Elizabeth Impey and her struggle for female emancipation in the early 20th century.

A strong and persistent suffragette who refused to be put off course by the government, police or even her local community. Supported throughout by her loving husband, Arthur.
